Assembly Mechanics

Assemble, set-up and disassemble entire machine components based on work plans and blueprints within a team environment.

Assemble and setup machine components per work plans and blueprints using a variety of tools such as mechanics hand tools, drills, spot welders, calipers and others as required.
Work with team members to solve problems with fit and operation.
Disassemble components and ready them for shipment.
May be required to learn and operate drills, grinders, forklifts, overhead hoist and other equipment as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Able to use and understand all precision measuring instruments.
Understands basic math concepts.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, bills of material, setup sheets, etc.
Able to use a wide variety of tools.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Strong mechanical aptitude

Prefer successful completion of related course work at a trade or technical school
Prefer auto (or other) mechanic background

Supply own hand tools.
Ability to change assignments frequently.
Is consistently at work on time and ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent.
Follows instruction, responds to management direction.
Takes responsibility for own actions.
Commits to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
Completes tasks on time.
Quality focus
Offers suggestions and participates in continuous improvement activities.

This position does have the opportunity for overnight travel for customer service needs. Could be domestic or international travel (company paid). COVID-19 protocols are in place and travel is only done when appropriate.
